Alexis B.

Alexis B. is an experienced Test Engineering Manager at VIAVI Solutions, where responsibilities include overseeing product quality for advanced fiber optic microscope test technologies and software, managing engineering resources, and implementing automated testing solutions. In addition to technical leadership at VIAVI, Alexis serves as the United States technical expert for the IEC, contributing to the development of international standards for fiber optic devices. Previously as an Avionics Engineer at Planetary Resources, Inc., Alexis focused on spacecraft communication systems, and has held various mentorship and educational roles, including teaching computer science to high school students through Girls Who Code. Alexis earned a Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering, with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
