Ana Margarida Campos

Ana Margarida Campos, PhD, is a Mass Spectrometry Expert at VIB since September 2022, specializing in chromatographic and spatial metabolomics analyses. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at Istituto di Chimica Biomolecolare, focusing on lipid metabolism in immune cells, and a PhD at the National Research Council of Italy, where research involved mass spectrometry of lipids related to immune tolerance. Earlier roles included research fellowships at QOPNA, where responsibilities encompassed lipidomic studies and analysis of mass spectrometry data in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh. Ana holds a PhD in Biomolecular Sciences, a Master's in Biochemistry, and a Bachelor's in Biochemistry, all from esteemed Portuguese institutions.
