Farzaneh Ghazavi

Farzaneh Ghazavi is an experienced professional currently serving as a Technologies Project Manager at VIB since October 2023, after a brief period in Professional Development at the same institute. Prior experience includes significant roles at Peace of Meat as Head of Bioprocess Development, Process Development Team Lead, and Senior Cell Biologist from November 2020 to May 2023, along with a notable tenure as a Postdoctoral Researcher at VIB focusing on cell death and stem cell biology. Farzaneh holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from Ghent University, where the research centered on pediatric B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia, complemented by a Master's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Tehran and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from Isfahan University. Farzaneh's commitment to professional growth is evidenced by proactive engagement in independent learning and participation in workshops and seminars to stay abreast of advancements in biotechnology.
