Jeroen Declercq

Jeroen Declercq currently serves as Labmanager at VIB since July 2022 and has extensive experience in clinical and experimental research. Previously, Jeroen worked as a Clinical Laboratory Geneticist at UZ Leuven (February 2018 - July 2022) and held dual roles as Principal Investigator and Quality Manager at Jessa ziekenhuis (August 2015 - January 2018). Jeroen's academic journey includes positions such as Project Coordinator for the Limburg Clinical Research Program at Hasselt University and Senior Postdoc at KU Leuven and Technical University of Munich. With a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven and multiple master's degrees in related fields, Jeroen has contributed to research, grant writing, and the supervision of students while also engaging in teaching various health sciences subjects.
