Mette Andreassen

Mette Andreassen is a seasoned professional in public governance and social services with extensive experience in local government roles. Since April 2015, Mette has served as the Director of Social, Health, and Care at Viborg Municipality, complementing a concurrent position as Family and Counseling Chief since November 2011. Previously, Mette held the role of Deputy Chief for Children and Youth at Skive Municipality from January 2007 to October 2011, overseeing vulnerable areas and health care services. Earlier career highlights include leading the Family Department at Spøttrup Municipality, where Mette was responsible for vulnerable children and youth, health services, and integration. Mette holds a Master's degree in Public Governance from the University of Southern Denmark and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Den Sociale Højskole Århus.
