Andreas Gros

Andreas Gros has extensive work experience in the field of data science. Andreas started their career in 2007 as a Researcher at the Max Planck Society, Max Planck Digital Library. Andreas then moved on to work as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the New England Complex Systems Institute from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, Andreas joined Meta as a Research Data Scientist and worked there until 2023. During this time, they also freelanced as a Data Scientist for a brief period from January to March 2013. Currently, Andreas is working at Vibrant Planet as a Data Scientist since June 2023.

Andreas Gros completed their Master's degree in Systems Science at the University of Osnabrueck, Germany from 1996 to 2004. During this time, they studied mathematics, computer science, systems science, and ecology. Afterwards, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Theoretical Ecology at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Andreas attended this university from 2004 to 2008.
