Cory Cox

Cory Cox is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in the field of music. Currently an artist at Vic Firth Company since January 2016, Cory serves as a percussion instructor at both the Brooklyn Institute for Liberal Arts and the Bronx Charter School for the Arts, while also holding a position as an adjunct instructor at The Calhoun School. In addition to these roles, Cory has been active as a guest musician and site coordinator for Jazz at Lincoln Center's Middle School Jazz Academy. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Cory has worked as a self-employed drummer, composer, and educator since 1996, and released a new album titled "The Core" in December 2014. Cory holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from The New School and a Dave Brubeck Fellowship Certificate from the University of the Pacific.
