Francisco M. Sanchez is a Senior Systems Engineer at Vicarious Surgical Inc. since August 2023. Previously, Francisco held the position of Senior Systems Safety Engineer - Software Safety Lead at Raytheon Technologies from August 2020 to August 2023, where responsibilities included coordinating safety risk mitigation for the SPY-6 Navy Radar programs and conducting safety assessments across engineering disciplines. Francisco also worked as a Software Engineer at Sikorsky from June 2017 to August 2020, focusing on MATLAB design and integration for the CH-53K platform. Early experiences include an internship in Electronic Flight Controls at Sikorsky and a Desktop Services Assistant role at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Francisco holds a Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (2013 - 2017) and served as a mentor and team director for FRC Team 190.
