Michael Bunne has extensive experience in systems engineering and robotics, currently serving as Associate Director of Systems Engineering at Vicarious Surgical Inc. since November 2015, where previous roles include Manager of Systems Engineering and Robotics Software Engineer. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Systems Engineer at Raytheon and served as a Course Assistant at Stanford University, focusing on smart product design. Michael's research experience includes developing humanoid robot leg configurations at SRI International and constructing running robots at the FSU STRIDe Lab. Michael holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Music from Florida State University.
