Robert Green is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and process improvement. Currently serving as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Vicarious Surgical Inc. since January 2022, Robert has previously held similar roles at Integra LifeSciences and Smith & Nephew, where responsibilities included process and test method improvement, equipment validation, and daily manufacturing support. Robert’s managerial expertise is demonstrated through leadership positions at Daktari Diagnostics and CeQur, focusing on managing engineering teams, implementing prototype labs, and enhancing product development for clinical trials. Additionally, as Operations Manager at InfraReDx, Robert implemented lean assembly practices and improved production methodologies. Starting their career at Bayer Healthcare as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Robert developed manufacturing processes utilizing lean and six-sigma techniques. Robert holds a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
