Tyzoon Nomanbhoy has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences and drug discovery. Tyzoon is currently serving as the Vice President of Chemical Biology at Vicinitas Therapeutics since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ActivX Biosciences, where they held various roles from 2001 to 2022. Their roles at ActivX Biosciences include Senior Director of Drug Discovery and Proteomics from April 2017 to October 2022, Director of Drug Discovery and Proteomics from January 2013 to April 2017, and Principal Scientific Lead from an unspecified start date in 2011 to January 2013. Tyzoon also worked as a Group Leader and Research Scientist at ActivX Biosciences from 2001 to 2010. Tyzoon Nomanbhoy completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Rochester in the years 1988 to 1991. Subsequently, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Cornell University from 1991 to 1997.
