Paul Koevoets

Paul Koevoets has over 34 years of work experience in the field of analytical chemistry. From 1986 to 2001, they worked as a Biochemisch Analist at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. From 2001 to 2004, they were a Senior Research Assistant at Kiadis Pharma, where they developed drug discovery screening methods using HPLC-MS and HPLC-biochemical detection. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Research Assistant at Pharming, where they developed QC analyses in bio pharmaceutical product development using HPLC-UV-MS techniques. From 2008 to 2019, they were a Scientist at BioMarin Nederland B.V., where they developed and qualified (bio-) analytical methods suitable for GMP/GLP quality systems, using UPLC-MS techniques. Finally, from 2019 to 2020, they were a Senior Scientist CMC at ProQR Therapeutics, where they supervised internal and external analytical development and quality control projects, and developed and validated purity and assay methods for oligonucleotides using LC-UV-MS methods. Currently, they are the Director of Analytical Chemistry at Vico Therapeutics B.V.

Paul Koevoets completed an HBO biochemisch-analist (HNWO) at Dr. Struycken-Instituut, Etten-Leur from 1981 to 1985, studying ing. Prior to this, they obtained an HBO A, klinisch chemisch hematologisch analist from Dr. Struycken Instituut, Etten-Leur from 1977 to 1981, also studying ing.
