Sonia Najas Sales, PhD

Sonia Najas Sales, PhD has a wide range of work experience. Starting in 2007 with a summer internship at IMIM, they then completed a Master internship at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in 2008. In 2010, they became a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at IBMB, followed by a Postdoctoral Researcher at HelmholtzZentrum M\u00fcnchen from 2017-2020. In 2013, they took on the role of Science communicator at BIOcomuniCA'T, ci\u00e8ncia per emportar. Finally, in 2020 they became a Business Developer / Scientific Business Liaison at IMIHGOM B.V. and in 2021 they were appointed Senior Scientist at Vico Therapeutics B.V.

Sonia Najas Sales, PhD began their educational journey in 2003 when they attended Universitat Pompeu Fabra and studied Biology. Sonia then went on to earn their Master's Degree in Neuroscience from Universitat de Barcelona from 2008 to 2010. Finally, they completed their PhD in Biomedicine from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2014.
