Bob Dimmock

Bob Dimmock has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bob began their career at Prudential Assurance in 2000, where they worked as a Technology Support Analyst, providing IT and telephony support for business users. Bob was also involved in designing and implementing ACD/IVR systems and management reports for contact centres.

In 2005, Bob joined Fernhill School as a Mathematics Teacher and form tutor. Bob taught mathematics to students aged 11-16 in a comprehensive education setting.

In 2008, Bob transitioned to Vicon, where they held two roles. Bob started as a VFX Support Engineer, providing customer support for Vicon hardware and software, with a specialization in VFX motion capture applications. Later, they became the Support Manager, leading the Vicon ROW support team and continuing to specialize in supporting customers in the entertainment market.

Bob Dimmock attended the University of Manchester from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree with a 2:1 classification in the field of Aerospace Engineering. In 2003 to 2004, they studied Mathematics Education (Pre-ITT) at University College Chichester. Afterwards, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the same institution, focusing on Secondary Education with a specialization in Mathematics.
