Lasse Røren

Lasse Røren has a diverse work experience in the software development industry. Lasse started their career in 1996 as an Algorithm Engineer at TSS UK Ltd, where they developed algorithms for tracking sub-sea cables and pipes. In 1997, they joined Vicon and initially worked as a programmer, specializing in developing end-user software. Over the years, their role evolved into a Product Manager position, where they focused on understanding customer requirements and traveling to conferences and customer sites. At Vicon, Lasse gained extensive experience in software development, customer support, and product management. In 2009, they joined prophysics as a Product Manager & Developer, handling various responsibilities such as developing end-user software and providing expert-level support for customers in biomechanics and 3D motion capture. In 2013, Lasse became an Independent freelance programmer, specializing in designing and developing software for clinical gait analysis and biomechanical research. Lasse has expertise in creating user-friendly software solutions and plug-ins for Vicon software. Currently, Lasse works as a Product Specialist at Vicon, taking on a role focused on product expertise and support.

Lasse Røren's education history begins in 1988 when they graduated from Drammen Gymnas with a high school diploma, majoring in Natural Sciences. From 1991 to 1996, they attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics. During the same time period, from 1995 to 1996, they also pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics at The University of Queensland.
