Mike Braman started their work experience in 2007 as an Engineering Co-op at Cargill. Mike later joined Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as a Stove Engineer, where they developed a rocket stove prototype and collaborated with local residents and businesses to build stove manufacturing and distribution infrastructure. In 2010, they joined Cargill again as a Fermentation Manufacturing Engineer and later became a CSU Process Development Engineer. In 2014, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Finally, in 2016, they joined Vicon as a Senior Application Engineer and then transitioned to the role of Support Manager - VMSI.
Mike Braman completed a Master's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton, where they studied from 2005 to 2010.
