Gill Main

Gill Main is the Research and Lived Experience Officer at Victim Support and the founder of the Social Research Collective, which partners with grassroots organizations to promote social justice through democratizing social research. They have previously served as an Associate Professor at the University of Leeds and a Research Fellow at the University of York, focusing on child poverty, social exclusion, and well-being. Gill's academic background includes a PhD in Social Policy and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from York St. John College. With extensive experience in social research and a commitment to advocating for marginalized communities, Gill is passionate about advancing social justice initiatives.
