Victor Chang
Carus Lau is a Senior Postdoctoral Scientist at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute since June 2015 and also serves as a Conjoint Lecturer at UNSW since June 2017. Lau’s professional background includes a PhD scholarship and research assistant roles at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, The University of Queensland, from July 2008 to November 2015. Previously, Lau worked as a research assistant at Sing Lok Pharma Consultants Ltd from September 2006 to June 2007. Academically, Lau earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Queensland (2011-2015), a Master of Molecular Biology from the same institution (2008-2010), and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Environmental Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2004-2007).
