Makiba Washington

Makiba joined Victor 12 in June of 2014 and oversees all Human Resource initiatives and systems. She plans, directs, and coordinates the administrative human resource functions of the organization. In addition to creating innovative ways to engage employees, Makiba also works alongside the team to maintain a culture that develops leaders and empowers employees.

Prior to becoming the Director of Talent Management, Makiba worked as a Human Performance Technologist at Victor 12 and she brings a wealth of experience in human services, relationship building, and interpersonal skills. Makiba holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-CP).
