Evonne Mackenzie is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across cultural institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Design at the Victoria and Albert Museum since December 2018, Evonne oversees all areas of design output, including exhibitions and branding. Prior to this role, Evonne was a Producer at Heatherwick Studio, managing cultural projects and developing a team for product and furniture production, and also served as an Exhibition Manager, executing international exhibitions. Evonne's experience with the British Council includes directing arts programs and initiating cross-disciplinary projects globally, particularly in Indonesia. Earlier roles encompassed senior design management and research positions, showcasing a strong background in collaboration with diverse artistic and design communities. Evonne received education from Glasgow Caledonian University.
