Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy possesses extensive experience in diverse roles within education, agribusiness, and community service. Currently serving as Secretary at the Victorian Bioenergy Network since July 2023, Murphy has previously held significant positions such as Group Facilities Manager at the Groote Eylandt and Bickerton Island Enterprise Aboriginal Corporation and Teacher at Federation University Australia. With a strong commitment to support agricultural development as Chairperson of Cultivate Agribusiness and background in hospitality management as General Manager at the Diocese of Sandhurst - Feathertop Chalet, Murphy has also contributed to international educational initiatives in Fiji. Academic qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Education and two Bachelor of Applied Science degrees from Federation University Australia, focusing on Food Technology, Agricultural Biotechnology, and aspects of geology and hydrology.
