Helga Wolf-Billard

Helga Wolf-Billard, CHSC, is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and wellness with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Safety, Health & Wellness at VON Canada since October 2025, Helga has previously held significant positions at the Canadian Red Cross, where responsibilities included shaping the Health & Safety function and leading a team dedicated to organizational objectives. Previous roles at Halifax Regional Municipality involved managing a team responsible for health, safety, and wellness services and overseeing corporate strategies. Helga also held several key positions at Loblaw Companies Ltd., focusing on accident prevention and health and safety program execution in both national and regional capacities. Education was obtained from Queen's University between 1989 and 1991.
