Kurt Daum

Kurt Daum is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and investment analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Victory Capital since October 2013, Kurt leads the management of the Victory Core Plus Intermediate Term Bond Fund and the Victory High Income Fund, focusing on Core-Plus, High Yield, and Leveraged Finance. Prior to Victory Capital, Kurt held the position of Director at Highland Capital Management, overseeing leveraged loan and CLO investment strategies. Kurt's career also includes a role as a Senior Analyst at AIG Investments, specializing in distressed debt and high yield investments, as well as experience as an Analyst and Senior Counsel at Q Investments and as an Associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. Kurt holds a JD from The University of Texas School of Law and a BA in Economics/Statistics from The University of Texas at Austin.
