Adam Chaplin

Adam Chaplin is a Principal Scientist at Victrex, specializing in long-term research objectives and providing expert scientific support across the organization since December 2000. Notable previous roles at Victrex include Technology Manager for New Polymers and Research Team Leader, where leadership was demonstrated in product and process research for high-performance polymers, as well as serving as a Senior Polymer Chemist focused on product R&D and optimization of chemical processes. Prior to Victrex, Adam worked as a Higher Scientific Officer at DERA, conducting research on high-temperature polymers and composites. Adam holds a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, earned between 1987 and 1991.
