Tobias Engelmeier

Tobias Engelmeier has a diverse work experience, starting in 2003 as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. In 2008, they founded Bridge to India Pvt. Ltd. and served as Founder until 2016. From 2016 to 2020, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of TFE, focusing on sustainable energy and related development goals. In 2018, Tobias became the CEO and Co-Founder of VIDA, a map-based software company facilitating data-driven decisions in developing countries. In 2021, they also participated in the RESPOND Accelerator program and joined the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt as part of the Responsible Leaders Network. Additionally, in 2022, Tobias joined the Katapult as a participant.

Tobias Engelmeier completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Politics and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Prior to that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Indian politics at Heidelberg University, where they received the degree of Dr. rer. pol., during the years 2007 to 2008.
