Ryan Culp

A fascination with how people age, how they recover from injury and how to prevent them in the first place, lead Dr. Culp to an integrative approach to practice since leaving the prestigious Palmer College back in the early 2002 (Cum Laude) where he also served as assistant professor in neurology, spinal anatomy, radiology and diagnostics. This idea has grown and developed even more through his part in creating the model currently employed at Vida Integrated Health. Recognizing that sickness, pain or injury rarely stems from one sole cause is the starting point for any full recovery and for making lasting change in people’s lives.

Education and understanding is central to Dr. Culp’s approach to helping patients reach their goals. He has spoken on dozens of occasions from patient education classes on worker’s rights, nutrition and ergonomics to lecturing at Peruvian Medical College on joint mechanics and spinal rehabilitation.

Dr. Culp started practice in Peru with an NGO and community involvement has been important ever since. He was involved in several charity organizations and founded an outreach program with “Chibolitos” that helped provide homeless children education and healthcare while living in the Northern Andean city of Cajamarca.

Staying up to date with the latest research in his field as well as other closely related fields is has lead Dr. Culp to complete post-graduate studies in nutrition, neurology, orthopedic surgery, diagnostic imaging, sports injury and the treatment and management of whiplash.
