Austin Kwok

Austin Kwok is a skilled cinematographer with extensive experience in the film and television industry since January 2020. Previous roles include freelance videographer for Android Authority from July 2020 to February 2023, where work involved crafting engaging video content. In the Vancouver film industry, Austin served as an on-set production assistant from August 2018 to April 2019, gaining hands-on experience in traffic control, set-up, and managing background actors. As a videographer for UBC Recreation from September 2018 to March 2019, responsibilities included filming sports events and creating promotional videos. Earlier experience includes video editing at Best Shine Entertainment Ltd. in June to August 2016, utilizing various editing software. Austin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from The University of British Columbia and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production at The American Film Institute, expected to complete in May 2026.
