Michael Bronstein

Co-Founder, Technology Advisor at Videocites

Michael Bronstein has a diverse range of work experience in the field of AI and technology. Michael is currently serving as the DeepMind Professor of AI at the University of Oxford. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientific Advisor for AKA FOODS, Lumirithmic, and Relation Therapeutics. Michael was also the ML Lead and PI at Project CETI. Bronstein co-founded Videocites, a cloud-based platform that combines a video search engine with a large index of video frames. Michael has also held positions as a Professor at USI Università della Svizzera italiana and a Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation. Earlier in their career, they were the Head of Graph Learning Research at Twitter and a Professor chairing in Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition at Imperial College London.

Michael Bronstein has a strong educational background in computer science and electrical engineering. Michael completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the same institution, which they completed from 2002 to 2005. Furthering their academic achievements, Bronstein obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2005 and 2007.
