Igor Schtein, Dr. BA, MBA

Igor Schtein, Dr. BA, MBA has a long and varied work experience. Igor began their career in 1997, when they founded an IT consulting firm, Arrow Technologies, Inc., providing services to prominent Bay Area and Fortune 500 corporations. In 2001, they became an Architect and Development Lead at Bechtel, where they designed and implemented the Bechtel Request for Purchase System. In 2004, they moved to Longs Drugs as a Pharmacy Systems Architect and Development Manager. From 2006 to 2013, they worked at Gracenote, first as an Engineering Manager for Content Applications and Acquisition Systems, then as a Senior Engineering Manager for Content Technologies. During their time at Gracenote, they managed and provided professional development mentorship to direct reports, peers, and software engineers, and was commended for designing content persistence models, process workflow, and data transformations. From 2013 to 2021, they were at Cantaloupe Inc. as VP of Engineering, Senior Director of Engineering for SaaS Solutions, and Director of Engineering for SaaS Solutions. In 2021, they joined vidIQ as Chief Technology Officer and VP of Engineering.

Igor Schtein obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering in 1993. Igor then went on to earn their Doctor of Business Administration in Information Technology from Walden University. After that, they obtained their Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from John F. Kennedy University. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Java Developer from Sun Microsystems.
