Jamie Gidman has held a variety of roles in the sales and business development industries since 2007. From 2007 to 2008, Gidman worked as a Project Manager Assistant & Research Sales Assistant at Buddy Advertising Agency, where they analyzed sales leads, developed case presentations, and worked on marketing projects for the MNE Hasselblad. During a maternity leave contract in 2008, Gidman worked as a Sales Representative at Philip Morris International, managing 260 accounts independently and achieving all targets. From 2011 to 2015, Gidman worked at Agence France Presse, first as Business Development Manager for the UK, Ireland, and Nordic Region and then as Business Development Manager for the Nordic Region. During this time, Gidman took full ownership of commercial strategy and budget planning within the territory, increased revenue from existing clients, and built new revenue opportunities with prospective clients. Finally, from 2015 to 2017, Gidman held four roles at Vidsy, including Head of Client Partnerships, Sr. Director of Sales & Business Development, Head of DR & Gaming, and Director of Sales & Business Development.
Jamie Gidman began their educational journey in 2005, when they attended IHM Business School to study Business. In 2007, they attended the University of Borås to study Management and Leadership. Jamie then moved to Liverpool John Moores University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management & Marketing in 2009. Finally, they attended UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Marketing in 2010.
