Sean McCarthy

Sean McCarthy serves as the Chief Technology Officer at VieCure since April 2024. Previously, McCarthy held various roles at Remedi SeniorCare Pharmacy from July 2009 to April 2024, including Chief Information Officer, where responsibilities included leading an integrated IT team focused on technology planning, enterprise architecture, and data analytics, and VP of Software Development, overseeing multiple teams. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Software Engineer at Capsa Healthcare, where McCarthy led the development of an eMAR system, and as a Product/Software Consultant at Smart Shopper Magazine Inc., creating web-based solutions for sales and marketing. McCarthy has also held engineering roles at Coram CVS, NeighborCare, Genesis HealthCare, and Health Objects, contributing significantly to application development and team leadership throughout a progressive career in technology and healthcare services. Education was completed at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
