Tony Romano

Tony Romano has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Tony'smost recent role was as the Vice President & General Manager at VieCure starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Origin as EVP, Global Service Delivery from October 2021 to May 2023. In this role, they managed a global team delivering SaaS software implementation and managed services for utility customer billing and asset management.

From 2016 to 2021, Tony held multiple positions at Vizient, Inc. Tony started as the Vice President, Consulting Operations, where they led the consulting operations for Advisory Solutions. Tony then transitioned to Vice President, Product Delivery, overseeing a $100M portfolio of clinical, operational, and supply chain products. Tony also spearheaded the launch of a new organizational service model.

Starting in 2009, Tony worked at MedAssets, first as the Director of Business Solutions, then as Vice President. In their roles, they managed a $20M analytics technology business, oversaw a multi-disciplinary team, and defined operational strategies and development roadmaps.

Prior to MedAssets, Tony worked at NORTH HIGHLAND CONSULTING LIMITED as a Principal. There, they led the design and execution of new product market pilots for a pet pharmaceutical company.

At Booz Allen Hamilton, Tony was an Associate from 2003 to 2008. Tony specialized in Lean Six Sigma project delivery and organizational transformation for civil government and defense clients.

Tony's earlier experience includes a role as Director of Six Sigma at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where they implemented and directed the company's Six Sigma quality improvement program. Tony also worked as a Manager at McMaster-Carr, overseeing operational efficiency and quality control in a $50M warehouse.

Before their career in the private sector, Tony served in the US Army as a Platoon Leader and Battalion Officer from 1995 to 1999.

Tony Romano received their Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Cornell University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Tony then pursued further education at Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, obtaining an MBA in Operations from 2003 to 2006.
