Majd Mirza

Majd Mirza has a strong background in software development and management roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Majd started their career at Pharma Consulting Group in 2009, where they worked as a SAS programmer, producing statistical and clinical study reports. Majd also developed a macro library for standardized tables and figures. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Clinical Data Manager, responsible for managing and analyzing clinical trial data. In 2012, they became a System Developer, working on the company's web-based electronic data capture (EDC) system, Viedoc.

In 2013, Majd Mirza joined Viedoc as a System Developer, contributing to the development of Viedoc's web, mobile, and API subsystems. Majd was responsible for designing, developing, and unit testing the application, as well as assisting in requirements and design sessions. In 2016, they were promoted to Manager of System Development and became a member of the management team. In this role, they led and managed a team of system developers, setting the direction for system development in collaboration with product management.

In 2021, Majd Mirza was promoted to the role of Chief Technology Officer at Viedoc, where they oversaw the technological aspects of the company's operations. After serving as CTO for a brief period, they were appointed as the Chief Innovation Officer in 2023, focusing on driving innovation within the organization.

Throughout their career, Majd Mirza has showcased their expertise in software development, system management, and leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Their experiences have equipped him with comprehensive knowledge and skills in developing and delivering EDC systems, as well as managing teams and driving innovation.

Majd Mirza has an extensive education history. From 2001 to 2007, they attended Uppsala University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science degree in Medicine, which they completed in 2007. Additionally, Majd Mirza completed their Ph.D. degree in Medical Sciences at Uppsala University from 2007 to 2010.

In terms of additional certifications, Majd Mirza obtained the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft in November 2014. They also achieved the MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 Specialist certification, as well as the Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD): Web Applications certification, both from Microsoft in January 2016.
