Dr. Martin Hienzsch

Dr. Martin Hienzsch has held various roles throughout their work experience. Dr. Martin began as an Assistant Professor at the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) in 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at the Werkzeugmaschinenlabor, WZL der RWTH Aachen, where they held positions such as Wissenschaftlicher Angestellter & Projektleiter and Gruppenleiter Business Development. In 2015, they became the Geschäftsbereichsleiter Organisationsentwicklung at the same institution. In 2016, Dr. Hienzsch joined the Vaillant Group, where they worked in various roles including Manager Vaillant Group Business Processes, Head of Quality Performance Management, and Senior Operations Project Manager. Dr. Martin'smost recent role at Vaillant Group was Director Group Products & Solutions Heat Pumps. Currently, they are the VP Innovation, Processes, Strategy & PMO at Viega GmbH & Co. KG, starting in 2023.

Dr. Martin Hienzsch has a diverse educational background. Dr. Martin started their studies in 2003 at RWTH Aachen University, where they completed a Diplom degree in Wirtschaftsingenieur Maschinenbau (Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering) in 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further academic achievements at the same university, obtaining a Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in Engineering Sciences in 2016.
