Marlene Welzl has extensive experience in both startup services and international policy. Currently serving in startup services at the Vienna Business Agency since August 2021, Marlene is also a co-founder of wohnbuddy.com, a platform dedicated to connecting elderly individuals with suitable co-living companions. Prior experience includes roles as a policy officer and trainee at the Austrian Foreign Ministry's Asia & Pacific Unit, as well as a graduate student intern at the Mercator Institute for China Studies. Marlene holds a Master of Science in Leading Innovative Organisations from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and degrees in International Development Studies and Chinese Studies from the University of Vienna.
