Carsten Dehner

Carsten Dehner is the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Vienna Insurance Group. Carsten serves as the IFRS 17 Workstream Lead for Processes, Data, Systems & Governance. Carsten also holds the title of Head of VIG Holding IT, overseeing the transformation of the IT organization. In addition, Carsten is the Head of the Department of Data Management & Processes, leading various projects related to Solvency II reporting and data quality management. Prior to their current roles, Carsten worked as a Managing Director at VITEC Vienna Information Technology Consulting GmbH and twinformatics GmbH. Carsten has a background as a lecturer in Mathematics and extensive experience as a musician and manager in various ensembles and orchestras. Carsten holds a Diploma of Mathematics from the University of Tübingen.
