Nicholas Spanos

Nicholas Spanos is a soloist at Wiener Staatsoper since October 2019 and has extensive experience as a freelance classical singer participating in staged opera performances, solo recitals, and concerts. Key performances include roles in Giovanni Alberto Ristori's "Le Fate" with Ensemble Alraune, Monteverdi's "ORFEO" with Les Talens Lyriques, and Händel's "Giulio Cesare." Spanos has performed with notable companies, including Opéra national de Lorraine and Venice Baroque Orchestra. Educationally, Spanos holds a Master's degree in Opera Performance from the University of Maryland and a postgraduate qualification in Lied and Oratorio from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
