Sebastian Guth

Sebastian Guth has extensive work experience in the field of electrical and electronic engineering. Sebastian started their career at BMW Motorrad in 2013, where they held various roles including Specialist in Electrical/Electronic systems. During their time at BMW, they also participated in an internal promotion program and worked on their doctoral thesis under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Hermann Winner at TU Darmstadt.

In 2020, Sebastian joined Viessmann, where they initially worked as a Module Owner E/E and later as a Team Lead Feature Owner. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Functional Design at Viessmann, starting in 2023.

Sebastian Guth completed their education at Technische Universität Darmstadt. Sebastian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Maschinenbau - Mechanical and Process Engineering from 2007 to 2011. Finally, they completed their education with a Dr. Ing. degree in Maschinenbau Fahrzeugtechnik from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they also completed a research semester in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at UFOP - Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto in 2010.
