Thao Nguyen

Thao Nguyen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the banking and finance sector. Currently serving as Country Manager at ASEAN Business Partners since November 2020 and as Executive Vice President at Vietnam International Bank since April 2019, Thao has demonstrated leadership and strategic capabilities. Previous roles include Head of Sales FDI at Techcombank, where responsibility encompassed managing relationships with foreign direct investment enterprises in Northern and Central Vietnam, and General Manager at ANZ, overseeing foreign bank branches. Thao also served as Country Head for Financial Institutions at Citi, where key relationships with financial regulatory bodies were established, and as Financial Institutions Relationship Manager at HSBC Global Banking and Markets. Thao holds an Executive MBA and a Master of Business Administration from RMIT University Vietnam, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Hanoi University.
