Andrew Thomas has a diverse work experience ranging from volunteer internships to leadership roles. Andrew has served as a patient coordinator at Southland Integrated Services, Inc., where they facilitated access to healthcare services for underserved communities. At the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement, they acted as Vice President of Academic Affairs, guiding and mentoring youth leaders and facilitating academic lessons for students. Andrew also worked at the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute as a California Institute of Regenerative Medicine Intern, conducting research on cell lineage programming. Andrew co-founded the National Society of Leadership and Success at San Diego State University and served as Vice President/President, motivating students to take action. As an Academic Mentor for the Price Community Scholar program, they guided underprivileged students towards academic success and higher education. Lastly, Andrew worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician at The Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC., applying ABA therapy to children with ASD and collaborating with a team of therapists.

Andrew Thomas completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at San Diego State University from 2014 to 2018. Andrew also pursued a program in Biology, General during the same period at the same university. In September 2020, they obtained the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

The Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement is a non-profit organization, under the leadership of the Catholic Church. Its aim is to teach youths to be virtuous people and good Christians. It also offers apostolate services for the youth. Throughout its years of service, the Movement has kept pace with social and cultural changes of the day in an attempt to reach out to the youth of all times.
