Emily Phan

Emily Phan is currently a Clinical Social Work Intern at City of Hope since September 2023 and has been a Youth Leader with the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement since June 2018, where responsibilities include preparing age-appropriate lessons for children and facilitating communication among students, parents, and staff. Previous experience includes roles as a Clinical Therapist Intern at WCUSD Comprehensive Counseling Program, Behavioral Therapist at The Children's School, and Childcare Worker at KIDS STUFF CENTER, where lesson plans for various subjects were developed and modified. Emily also served as a Peer Academic Advisor at the University of California, Irvine, and as a General Intern for ASUCI, coordinating major student events. Education includes a Master of Social Work with a focus on Community Mental Health from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Education in Child Development and a degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine.
