Haley Tran

Haley Tran is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on education, community service, and political engagement. Currently serving as a Staff Assistant and former Intern for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, Haley is also a Teaching For Justice Student Aide for a conference aimed at integrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Studies into K-12 education. Previous positions include Research Assistant at UC Irvine School of Social Sciences and a District Office Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives. As Executive Vice President and Community Service Chair of the Campuswide Honors Student Council at UCI, Haley supported networking and community initiatives for high-achieving students. Other experiences encompass leadership roles in the Vietnamese Student Association and UVSA, as well as healthcare support at CHOC Children's. Haley earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from UC Irvine in December 2023 after completing high school at Irvine High School.

The Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement is a non-profit organization, under the leadership of the Catholic Church. Its aim is to teach youths to be virtuous people and good Christians. It also offers apostolate services for the youth.
