Rick Allen

CEO & Co-Founder at ViewLift

Rick Allen is the CEO and co-founder of ViewLift. Rick has a long and successful history in the media industry, beginning with their work as a board member for MapQuest from 1997 to 1999. Rick then served as Senior VP for Discovery Communications from 1995 to 1997, where they were responsible for launching the National Geographic Channel. From 2008 to 2013, they produced documentaries including "Lost for Life", "A Fighting Chance", and "Kicking It". Prior to ViewLift, Rick was the CEO of Sporting News from 2003 to 2007, and the CEO and President of National Geographic Ventures from 1997 to 2002. Rick began their career in 1993 as the Deputy Assistant to President Clinton in the White House.

Rick Allen attended Dartmouth College for their JD in Law. Rick then went on to study at the University of Chicago Law School.
