Susana Vargas has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Susana started their career in 1994 as a Telecommunications Intern at the City of Huntington Beach, where they assisted in various IT tasks and inventory management. From 1995 to 1997, they worked as a Switch Technician at Cable and Wireless Communications, where they coordinated the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of transmission facilities.
In 1998, Susana joined Cisco Systems as an Engineer, specializing in DSL escalation support and troubleshooting hardware and software defects. Susana worked on setting up lab setups and supported Service Provider Gateway. Susana remained with Cisco Systems until 2011.
From 2014 to 2018, Susana worked as a Software Test Engineer at Beechwoods Software, where they performed manual and automated testing for DIRECTV's software and hardware releases. Susana also contributed to the development of the automated driver test suite for Arris.
In 2020, Susana transitioned into the field of Medical Devices, working as a Manufacturing Specialist. Their responsibilities included ensuring quality standards were met, conducting inspections, and assisting in training new employees. Susana also gained expertise in ViewSonic Sales while working for ViewSonic in 2020.
In 2021, Susana joined Consumer Electronics Co, where they worked with Smart WiFi Technology until October 2021. Their tasks included tasks related to WiFi technology.
Currently, Susana is working at Intelsat, starting from 2023, with a role focused on Satellite Communications.
Susana Vargas obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Management from Devry - Pomona, CA in 1995. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Marketing: Copywriting for Social Media in February 2022, Learning Cloud Computing: Networking in December 2020, Agile Development Practices in September 2020, Learn Emotional Intelligence, the Key Determiner of Success in September 2020, Project Management Foundations: Requirements in September 2020, and Programming Foundations: Fundamentals in August 2020.
