Piero Corpina, Dr.oec.HSG, has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the cement and construction industry. Piero is currently serving as the CEO of Vigier Holding AG, a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to this, they were the CEO and MD of Aalborg Portland AS & Unicon AS, as well as the Group Region Head for the Nordic Baltic region at Cementir Holding N.V. During their tenure at Cementir Group, Piero was responsible for managing over €600 million in revenues, five business divisions, and more than 100 production sites. Piero also served as a board member for various subsidiary companies. Before joining Cementir Group, Piero held several positions at LafargeHolcim, including General Manager of Holcim Divested Business and CEO/MD of Holcim Italia. Piero also served as a VP and Head of Strategy & Planning for both the global and North American/EMEA divisions. Piero's experience includes mergers and acquisitions, as well as project management and coordination.

Piero Corpina, Dr.oec.HSG, holds a PhD in Economics from the Universität St. Gallen-Hochschule für Wirtschafts-, Rechts- und Sozialwissenschaften, which they obtained from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Economics at the same university from 1989 to 1993, earning the degree lic.oec.HSG.
