Alvin James

Alvin James has worked in the engineering and manufacturing industry since 1994. Alvin began their career at Tellabs as an Industrial Engineer/Project Manager. In 2002, they moved to BAE Systems as a Senior Principle Manufacturing Engineer, where they provided support for over 35+ programs and over 300+ assemblies. In 2013, they joined Inova Labs as a Manufacturing Engineer Manager, where they managed a group of Manufacturing Engineers and Manufacturing Technicians to support New Product Introduction, Sustaining Engineering, RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) activities, and Product Transfer (international and domestic). In 2017, they became the Quality Assurance Manager at Trident Research LLC. In 2019, they joined Dover Fueling Solutions as a New Product Introduction Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as the Director of Quality and Manufacturing at Vigilant Biosciences, Inc.

Alvin James attended Booker T. Washington and then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University between 1989 and 1994.
