Davin Jackson

Davin Jackson has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Davin began their career as a Network/Desktop Support Technician at Shamrock Network Technologies, LLC in 2010, providing hardware, application, and network support. Davin then worked as a Network Systems Security Analyst at the Shelton Board of Education from 2012 to 2016, where they aligned security functions with strategic objectives and ensured the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.

In 2017, Davin became a Penetration Tester at Blue Canopy Group, LLC, conducting assessments of web-based and traditional applications. Davin continued their career as a Cyber Security Penetration Tester at ACI Worldwide from 2018 to 2019, where they focused on protecting software, systems, and information from attacks.

Davin joined GreenSky® in 2019 as an Application Security Architect/Penetration Tester. In this role, they identified potential vulnerabilities in applications and collaborated with product owners and information security teams to address these issues. Davin also performed manual and automated penetration testing and contributed to the improvement of the company's security posture.

From 2021 to 2022, Davin served as a Senior Application Security Engineer at Voyager. Here, they worked closely with technical and application development teams, conducting end-to-end security assessments and ensuring security standards were consistently met.

In 2022, Davin took on the role of Team Lead in Offensive Security Operations at a confidential company. Their responsibilities included training and developing junior staff, performing various security assessments, and communicating findings and strategies to clients.

Davin also worked as a LinkedIn Learning Instructor, sharing their knowledge of securing APIs and promoting the development of security management skills.

Currently, Davin is the Owner and Head of Content at Alpha Cybersecurity, LLC and the Owner and Coach at Alpha Esports & Technology. Both these roles allow him to provide specialized services in cybersecurity and esports training, respectively.
