Samantha Rooney

Samantha Rooney, PMP, MA, is a seasoned Project Manager currently leading initiatives at Vigilant since January 2025, following a role at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee where focus was on digital security transformation projects. At the National Contracting Center, Samantha managed organizational projects, collaborating with C-Suite Executives to prioritize strategic initiatives, and previously executed IT program initiatives that significantly enhanced platform usage. Earlier career experiences include roles in project management for Medicare-focused businesses and health insurance consulting, complemented by training management in the hospitality sector and coaching gymnastics. Samantha holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Oakland University.
