Timothy G. has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and talent acquisition. Timothy started as a Human Resources Fellow at the City of Durham in 2020, followed by an internship in Political Research at the State of North Carolina in 2022. Timothy then worked as a Field Human Resources & Talent Acquisition professional at The Welburn Organization from 2018 to 2021, where they played a key role in enhancing employee retention, implementing incentives, and managing workplace policies. In 2021, they joined Upwork as an HR Affairs and Recruiting Consultant, where they worked with start-up companies on hiring and recruiting, built relationships with universities for recruitment efforts, and handled various projects simultaneously. Timothy later became a Training & Development lead at Charter Communications from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are employed at VIGILINT, where they are involved in providing health protection solutions and serving as a Human Resource professional.

Timothy G. has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in U.S. Law/Legal Studies/Jurisprudence from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Timothy also holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Durham Technical Community College.

In 2021, Timothy obtained a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Duke University. Timothy also acquired additional certifications, including Diversity and Inclusion in HR Management from HRCI in May 2022, Notary Public Commission from the State of North Carolina in November 2021, and SHRM Membership from SHRM in November 2021.
