Katie Shane

Katie Shane has a diverse work experience in various roles in communication and journalism. Katie currently holds the position of Chief Communications Officer at Vigo County School Corporation since February 2023. Prior to that, they founded their own company, K.Shane Communications, where they served as President starting from April 2022. Katie has also worked as a Freelance Writer since April 2013. Katie served as the Director of Communications at Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce from March 2015 to April 2022. Before that, they worked as a Reporter/CoAnchor at WTWO TV from November 2006 to March 2016. Katie also has a background in production, having worked as a Producer at Fox Sports from June 2005 to November 2006 and as a NASCAR Production Associate at NBC Sports from 2003 to 2006.

Katie Shane earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a focus on Broadcast Journalism and Kinesiology from Indiana University Bloomington between 2000 and 2005.
